  • In addition to the unparalleled freedom this European rail pass gives travelers is the unequalled experience it delivers. No airport schedules or stress, no uncertainty with cost once it’s purchased, no language difficulties trying to navigate local ticket counters. Plus you go from one city center to the next. And it can help a travel budget go further, too. Simply compare a few point-to-point tickets you’re considering to the overall Global Pass package, and its value becomes apparent. You’ll also find a long list of additional travel discounts your pass is good for, determined by region. They typically include things like additional passage on private rail, discounted ferries and cruises, and deals on city tours and popular attractions.

The Eurail Global Pass was made to expand your view of the world. The fact that it does the same for your travel budget, well, we know that’s just as important.

Rail is the best in Europe |
"Comfortable, clean, prompt, accessible and supportive are the words we can use for this mode of travel. First class global pass place you in different level of convienience and attitude though all the train do not have this level. Even in any difficult time when Train Engine failed in the night , emergency relief services in Amsterdom were very efficient and the evacuated the passengers by arranging special busses and other means "

" Easy to use and understand Some countries were stricter than others in checking the pass Pass always needs to be filled out before journey starts Traveled for 3 months with my sister and had no issues at all The offline mobile app was a lifesaver and very reliable High season will always be high season, so sometimes booking in advance was a must Would do it all again with Eurail Global Pass if I could "

"The trains in most Western European countries are well- maintained and provide a comfortable journey, especially the first class coaches. The worst train journey I encountered was the Tirano to Milan trip as the train carriages seem to be in need of a complete overhaul. As a global pass user, I was able to make use of the First class lounges found in many major train stations ; my favourites are the SBB Lounge in Zurich and the lounge in Salzburg. The service was excellent and the lounge provided a place to rest and plan the next leg of my journey. I am so enamoured with train travel that come Spring/Summer 2017, I will be travelling again ( this time with a friend) to Europe and we intend to purchase the Eurail global pass. "

"The pass was hands down the best decision we made as it was convenient and really easy to use. Travelling by rail around Europe is the way to go for us. However, I believe if you are crossing many countries / places will the pass be affordable. We only gave a bad review on value for money because a 25% discount was announced 3-4 days after we've bought the pass, and we could not swap the passes for the discounted ones even though we've bought insurance. Global pass travel in Europe |
"I traveled in France, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, Germany and Netherlands in Oct '15. I bought a 15 days pass (traveled 12 days, 10 days and 2nd class promotional offer was not available). I took some day trains and some night trains. The trips were excellent and I had no hazels, except in one night train my ticket was not returned till the last minute, till my destination arrived. The trains were clean and punctual. The night trains reservations were easy. The booking staff were very courteous and gave good directions and train details to travel to my destinations. I also enjoyed my boat ride in lake Geneva (Global pass provision). The train time table - mobile app is very good and convenient (it is also offline which is very helpful). I feel it requires some update, because I could get a train from Zurich to Berlin, which was not in the time table. Overall my experience was very good. Looking forward to travel again. "

"Generally it was a very good experience. This was our 3rd use of the Eurail Pass and we have happily recommended it to others. There were a few things which detracted from the use of the Pass which were not an issue previously. We believe this to be due to the current security problems in Europe and not to the Pass Terms "
